Dear Mr Wigglesworth,
FIRE SERVICES’ (DISCIPLINE) REGULATIONS, 1985 DISCIPLINARY HEARING
Thank you for your letter of 15th September 1998. Since Mr Seager is away from the office at present, I am replying on his behalf.
In view of the range of people you have named as witnesses, it will be necessary for your case to be heard by Elected members of the County Council. Consequently, the administrative arrangements will be undertaken by staff of the County Personnel Department. As a result of this change in arrangements, the hearing will not now take place on 12th/13th October. The County Director of Personnel will notify you of a new date for the hearing.
Copies of your letters dated 8th and 15th September have been forwarded to the County Director of Personnel. Should you have any queries regarding the arrangements for the hearing, you may wish to contact Mr david Morgan (Employee Relations Manager, County Personnel department) by telephoning Ipswich 584102.
Yours sincerely
Sarah Davies (now Meelan)
